2027 Moosehead Award recipients!

For 40 years, The Moosehead Awards have championed the bold and the brilliantly original. Since 1987 the beloved Moose has been part of the DNA of Melbourne’s unique and globally revered comedy scene. It continues to provide financial support to Australian comedians creating new work and taking creative risks. It has helped bring some truly innovative, ambitious and delightfully bonkers ideas to life on stage, backing artists who dare to think differently and audiences who are lucky enough to witness the results.

And now, the recipients of the 2027 Moosehead Awards have officially been announced.

Please join us in celebrating this year’s successful applicants:

Here’s to another year of big swings, bold ideas and keeping the spirit of independent comedy alive. Long live The Moose!
